One of our listeners asked if we could play this popular contemporary Christmas story by Ron Carlson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As you know, nearly all of our regular content is obtained from librivox.org and is in the public domain which means it is free to us (and to you).\u00a0 That gives us a tremendous body of classic literature to draw from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the contemporary story, we had to seek out the copyright holder and obtain permission to play it on our station.\u00a0 Thanks to Mr Carlson and his agents Brandt & Hochman Literary Agents, Inc.\u00a0 for making that possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It has been a good exercise for us.\u00a0 We hope to be able to bring you a few more modern works as the months go by, while still broadcasting the best of the classics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
