Things have been a bit quieter since our frenetic finale to the crowdfunding project but we are still moving along.<\/p>\n
We have located 4 other people to\u00a0 bring on as board members of Classic Book Radio Corporation.\u00a0 Three have consented and we will present our case to the 4th in about a week.<\/p>\n
This is very good news!\u00a0 It means we can move ahead with our 501(c)3 application for determination with the IRS.\u00a0 And that will then open up various potential funding sources.\u00a0 Also it will give us some very smart people to help ensure that things are done right.\u00a0 A third benefit is:\u00a0 it is nice to get some affirmation that our project is not just the output of our own imagination.<\/p>\n
We have also moved forward with fulfillment of the “perks” that people selected during our funding drive.\u00a0 To that end, we should be picking up our t-shirt order this week!\u00a0 It’s nice to have something tangible.\u00a0 We ordered 50 and we needed about ten\u00a0 (I have a list).\u00a0 So that leaves us with ~ 40 shirts to sell, use as incentives, or whatever other purpose we can put them to.\u00a0 If I get it worked out, you may see our website sprout a “buy a T-shirt” link.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
